Homelessness describes an individual or family without stable, permanent, appropriate housing, or immediate prospects, means and ability of acquiring it. There is no accurate way of doing a census on the number of homeless American citizens living on the streets of the U.S.A. without a roof. It is estimated there are over half-million homeless in the United States of America. Trust Anne on this. There are millions of American Homeless.
